Organic fiber fields

Fiber Origins & Craftsmanship

From field to fabric, discover the journey of our organic textiles

Where Our Fibers Come From

Every thread in our collection begins with careful cultivation and sustainable farming practices. We work directly with small-scale growers who share our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Organic cotton field

Organic Cotton

Our organic cotton is grown in the fertile regions of India and Turkey, where generations of farmers have perfected sustainable cultivation methods. These farms use crop rotation, natural pest management, and organic fertilizers to maintain soil health.

The cotton is hand-picked to ensure the highest quality fibers, then processed using traditional methods that preserve the natural softness and strength of the material.

Hemp cultivation

Hemp Fibers

Hemp is one of the most sustainable crops on Earth, requiring minimal water and no pesticides. Our hemp comes from farms in Eastern Europe and North America, where the plant thrives in diverse climates.

The retting process uses natural water sources, and the fibers are extracted using traditional techniques that have been refined over centuries. This results in exceptionally strong and durable textiles.

Traditional Spinning & Loom Techniques

The transformation from raw fiber to finished textile is an art form passed down through generations.

Hand Spinning

Many of our textiles begin with hand-spun yarns, created using traditional spinning wheels. This method allows for greater control over yarn thickness and texture, resulting in unique, character-rich fabrics.

Traditional Looms

Our artisans use both handlooms and traditional floor looms to create our textiles. These time-honored techniques produce fabrics with natural variations that add depth and beauty to each piece.

Natural Dyeing

When color is desired, we use natural dyes derived from plants, minerals, and other organic sources. These methods are gentle on the environment and create rich, earthy tones that age beautifully.

Meet Our Growers & Artisans

Behind every textile is a community of dedicated individuals committed to preserving traditional crafts and sustainable practices.

Small-Scale Growers

We partner with family-owned farms that have been practicing organic agriculture for decades. These growers understand the importance of soil health, biodiversity, and water conservation. Their commitment to sustainable methods ensures that our fibers are not only high-quality but also environmentally responsible.

By working directly with these growers, we can trace every fiber back to its source, providing complete transparency about the origin and cultivation methods of our materials.

Traditional weaving

Skilled Artisans

Our textiles are crafted by master weavers and textile artists who have dedicated their lives to preserving traditional techniques. These artisans combine centuries-old knowledge with modern quality standards to create textiles that are both beautiful and functional.

Each piece reflects the skill and care of the artisan who created it, making every textile unique. We support these craftspeople through fair trade partnerships that ensure they receive fair compensation for their expertise.
